5. Be able to get along with others. Postal workers can become very irate at times, but you need to be friendly and you need to be able to get along with them. Sometimes postal workers can be a valuable source of information, and of course you should respect the fact that they work an extremely stressful job.
Be ready to undertake uncomfortable jobs, such as issuing warrants, arresting offenders, and even testifying in court. Make no mistake about it; while this is one of the best jobs in law enforcement, it is still a job in law enforcement.
